What to expect…

WORLD PREMIERE

Bearded Brutes is the world premier of the hyper-coloured and uber-stylised photographic exhibition by Mark Leeming. It blurs conventional perceptions of masculinity and femininity using beards, make-up, glitter and digital manipulation. Striking and in-your-face Bearded Brutes celebrate visibility within the LGBTQI community. The 24 portraits not only explore the feminine in the masculine (and vice-a-versa) they also reveal a little of each models unique personality and challenge the viewer to reassess definitions of beauty.

Join us at 6pm on 5 October for our Open House. A chance to get a sneak peak at the exhibition. Including a free film programme of shorts curated by Fringe! from 20:00 – www.fringefilmfest.com Beard make-over station and photo booth. And Wine.

BRAND NEW brutes, shot especially for London will be revealed as part of the exhibition.

Homespun: The very private lives of Timberlina

And What? and Geffrye Museum invite you to glimpse the domestic
life of London’s favourite country dwelling bearded drag lady.

Through a series of homely settings, Timberlina will explore various
domestic dilemmas; from city anguish, home economics to gardening,
foraging and free furnishings.

This is a unique opportunity for value-minded women, men and others
seeking unrefined inspiration.
