And What? are proud to be invited to programme the headline slot for Bar Wotever, and what a corker we have for you….

Hayley and Me by Kate O’Donnell

Hayley Cropper appeared in our living room three times a week. Although well-loved she was slightly over looked.  Bringing Hayley back into the limelight, this cabaret explores Hayley’s Coronation Street storylines and how they relate to Kate’s own journey. Taking a nostalgic look back at this piece of trans history, expect a splash of music from the era, visuals, interaction and a very icon anorak.

We work with some of the best LGBT & Queer Performers in London, UK and the World and encourage newcomers and beginners with great attitude and things to say. We champion a big group of Residential Performers who are invited to our stage time after time, just because we totally adore them and their craft. Every Tuesday we also host the Community News for and with our London LGBT & Queer Community.

Varjack & Simpson

Varjack & Simpson produce quirky creative content in the form of events, podcasts, and workshops. Their work fuses their backgrounds of spoken word, theatre, comedy, and filmmaking, and they have a love of high, low, and pop culture. They put on the worst-poet-wins, internationally touring The Anti-Slam, gleefully jumped on the panel show format with pop-meets-poetry mash-up show Poetry Goes Pop!, invented their own anti-dating show WORST. DATE. EVER., and have created Fail Better – a podcast all about artist failure and the hilariously awful.

Gasp… Be amazed… Take aim… It’s a live target!

Nando Messias is back with his own disturbingly beautiful freak show — a queer menagerie of carnivalesque contortion and florid fantasy.

Back from the huge success of his national tour, The Sissy’s Progress, Messias brings our compulsive gaze closer to the bold fragility of his trademark body — a Sissy body.
His dangerous ingenuity and exquisite theatricality offers you secret insights into murky depths of doubt, terror and dreams. Come watch as he penetrates through fairground whispers into a microcosm of ordinary weirdness, wretchedness, deracination, and subjugation, all with immense tenderness and tenacity.

Roll up, don’t be shy…. come Shoot The Sissy!
